Countdown to Christmas with the Story of Jesus

Starting December 1st, I will begin reading the story of Jesus’s life according to the book of Luke. There are indeed 24 chapters, which makes it perfect for the month of December leading up to Christmas.

I saw this idea on Facebook and think it’s pretty awesome! I am excited to learn about Jesus’ life, and really understand the true meaning of Christmas.

I will be completing this project in addition to my daily Bible journey for my year-long challenge. I’m jumping ahead in my study, so there are names of people and places, and events I may not have encountered yet; but I will try my best to adapt and just keep going.

I am using three different resources to read, study, and try to understand the best I can. I have combined all three together trying my best to make it read as a story, and easy to understand for those following along. Whether you are a beginner like me, or could recite the story yourself; I wanted this to be an enjoyable experience for all without a lot of questioning or confusion.

Hopefully, you will follow along with my daily posts so you can read Jesus’s story with me and gain a new appreciation for Christmas; and understand the true meaning of why we celebrate. I know that’s what I’m hoping for!
